George Avtandilov, PA-C, has a keen interest in cardiovascular science and surgical technique, which led him to pursue a career in vascular surgery at Valley Medical Center. His philosophy in patient care is centered on disease prevention, encouraging healthy lifestyle and empowering patients to make positive changes. He also values the definitive nature of surgical treatment, which he developed during his clinical rotations in cardiology, general surgery, and orthopedics.
George has spent most of his life in the Greater Seattle area, where he completed his undergraduate studies in molecular biology at University of Washington, and worked in Alzheimer’s disease research at the Seattle VA. He earned his Master of Science degree at Indiana State University and holds a national certification with the NCCPA.
When away from his medical duties, George enjoys a full and busy life with his young daughter, but also enjoys playing soccer, going on hikes, bike rides, and volunteering at his church. He is also an avid amateur mechanic, and enjoys DIY projects of all sorts.
