The Desimone Levee on the Green River failed and is under repair. The hospital is above the flood zone and currently in no danger of flooding. We evacuated our Time Square and Kent Station Clinics and our Lind Avenue locations. Several locations are experiencing staffing issues due to severe traffic impacts. Meghna Agarwal, MD, is an internal medicine physician who cares for hospitalized patients at Valley Medical Center. She enjoys caring for patients with complex medical needs, and helping patients and their families navigate the transition a hospital stay can represent. She has an interest in health equity and reducing health disparities in medicine.
Dr. Agarwal grew up in Portland, OR, and holds a degree in biochemistry from the University of Oregon. She received her MD at Stritch School of Medicine at Loyola University Chicago, where she was also a member of the Gold Humanism Honor Society. She completed internal medicine residency at University of Washington and is excited to continue caring for patients in King County. When not working, she enjoys hiking, travel, yoga, spending time with friends and family, cooking, reading, and crochet.
