Melissa Bauerle is a physical therapist, certified athletic trainer, and board-certified orthopedic clinical specialist. She earned her Doctor of Physical Therapy degree from the University of Lynchburg in May 2019 and specializes in the evaluation and treatment of orthopedic and musculoskeletal conditions.
Melissa believes in providing individualized, evidence-based care that empowers patients to take an active role in their recovery. She enjoys helping people improve strength, mobility, and confidence so they can return to meaningful activities, whether that means keeping up with daily life, returning to work, or participating in the sports and activities they enjoy.
Before joining Valley Medical Center, Melissa worked in outpatient orthopedic settings throughout the country as both a staff and travel physical therapist. These experiences allowed her to work with diverse patient populations and treatment approaches while developing a strong foundation in orthopedic rehabilitation.
