UW Medicine’s contracts with Aetna for Medicare Advantage and Commercial services expire on May 31, 2025, unless renewed. Zac earned his bachelor's degree in Sport & Exercise Science from Seattle University and quickly became immersed in the world of Lifestyle Medicine. This passion has driven him to pursue a master’s degree in Public Health. Zac is deeply committed to finding the root causes of chronic diseases and empowering his patients to take back control of their health and wellness. He has a particular interest in improving health outcomes for cancer patients and is working toward becoming a Certified Cancer Exercise Trainer through the American College of Sports Medicine (ACSM).
Zac values the importance of listening and strives to create an environment of trust and understanding with all his patients. He believes that open communication is the cornerstone of effective care, ensuring that each patient feels heard and respected in every interaction. In his spare time, he enjoys spending quality time with his wife, 2-year-old daughter, and dog.
