Provider Bio

Kim Eggerud, DNP, is a board-certified family nurse practitioner specializing in gastroenterology. She started her nursing career with Valley Medical Center in 2002, building a solid foundation in both acute and chronic illnesses. With a strong emphasis on evidence-based medicine and patient-centered care, Kim partners closely with patients to develop individualized treatment plans that address both symptoms and long-term health goals. She is committed to clear communication, education, and empowering patients to take an active role in their care.

Kim earned her bachelor’s degrees in both Psychology and Nursing from the University of Washington and her Doctor of Nursing Practice from Johns Hopkins University. She holds a national certification with the American Academy of Nurse Practitioners. In her spare time, Kim enjoys traveling, hiking, running, and spending time with friends and family.
