Chanel Fuchigami, PT,DPT is an nationally certified Orthopedic Certified Specialist and began working at Valley Medical Center in 2015. She believes in a comprehensive approach to therapy and creating sustainable lifestyle changes that empower individuals to understand their body and how they can facilitate healing to return to lifegiving activities and independence. On top of general orthopedics, she has an interest in sports injury and prevention and people with amputations.
Chanel grew up in King County. Attended Azusa Pacific University for undergraduate in California and then returned to her home state to Eastern Washington University to obtain her Doctor of Physical Therapy. She is a member of the American Physical Therapy Association and National Orthopedics Chapter. She enjoys spending time with friends and family, chasing down good food, as well as hiking, playing soccer and backpacking in the summer months, and mentors’ youth at her local church.
