Alexander (Alex) Hoffmann, MD is a non-invasive cardiologist with an interest in preventive cardiology, valvular heart disease, and genetic cardiovascular conditions such as Marfan syndrome. He is board certified in internal medicine and board eligible in cardiovascular disease, echocardiography, and nuclear cardiology. His approach to care is data-driven but always personalized as he values listening to and partnering with each patient to build a plan that fits their life.
Dr. Hoffmann received his medical degree with honors from the University of Washington School of Medicine where he was elected to the Alpha Omega Alpha honor society and served as vice president of the Medical Student Association. He completed his internal medicine residency at Massachusetts General Hospital/Harvard Medical School and his cardiology fellowship at the University of Washington where he served as chief fellow. His work has been published in peer-reviewed journals including JAMA Cardiology, Heart, and JSCAI. Outside of medicine, he enjoys international travel, exercise, and aviation.
