Gia Hemmen, MD, is board-certified in family medicine. As a family medicine doctor she treats all general medical problems. She has interest in pediatrics, women’s health, menopause, men’s health and geriatrics. She treats many patients for diabetes, high blood pressure, high cholesterol, obesity and pre-diabetes. She manages all preventive care for all ages. She also does skin procedures such as biopsies and cryotherapy.
Dr. Hemmen grew up in South Carolina but has been in Washington since age 12. She received her undergraduate and medical school training at University of Washington. Outside of work she enjoys her Great Dane and watching her kids play soccer.
