Despite their best efforts, UW Medicine has not yet been able to reach fair and sustainable agreements with Aetna that ensure continued access to care and are in the best interests of patients. Effective June 1, 2025, UW Medicine’s contracts with Aetna for Medicare Advantage and Commercial services have expired and we are now out of network with Aetna. I am PNW raised, originally from Brier, Washington. I moved to Southern California to attend college at Azusa Pacific University where I graduated with a degree in Allied Health and met my now husband. During college, I developed a love for science and after exploring a wide variety of careers in healthcare, decided to pursue a career in medicine. Before attending medical school, I spent a year working in dermatology at The Polyclinic in Seattle.
I moved to the Midwest and attended medical school at Creighton University School of Medicine in Omaha, NE. During my training, I developed a passion for primary care in addition to obstetrics and women's health. Managing my school's free health clinic allowed me to develop the tools to provide holistic care to patients, no matter their resources or circumstances.
My interests in family medicine include obstetrics, women's health, pediatrics, and dermatology. I am so happy to be back caring for patients in the PNW and look forward to developing longitudinal relationships with my patients.
In my free time, I enjoy spending time with my friends and family. You'll often find my husband and I trying new restaurants and watching baseball. I also love to travel, spend time outdoors, read, and play board games.
