Krista Heidar, MD grew up in the Pacific Northwest and received her medical degree from Loma Linda University in California. She did her internship at Kettering Medical Center in Kettering, Ohio, and her residency in Ophthalmology at Loma Linda University. She completed a surgical fellowship in pediatric ophthalmology and eye motility disorders at Oregon Health and Science University in Portland, Oregon. She is board certified by the American Board of Ophthalmology. She specializes in comprehensive pediatric ophthalmology and adult strabismus (eye muscle balance disorders).
Dr. Heidar is active in the American Association for Pediatric Ophthalmology and Strabismus as well as the American Academy of Ophthalmology.
