Maritza Julia, ARNP, has practiced in the specialty of wound/ostomy care, her passion, since 2016. She enjoys meeting with patients and families from every walk of life. Her approach is to listen carefully to each person, develop good relationships, provide education, then work closely with the patient to develop a plan of care designed to achieve the most optimal healing results possible.
Maritza initially began working in the healthcare field as an RN in 2004, then went on to earn her Master of Science in Nursing from University of Washington. She holds certification from the American Board of Wound Management and ostomy training from the Cleveland Clinic. When not in the clinic, Maritza enjoys culinary adventures, being outdoors, traveling , ethnobotany, pets, and spending time with family.
