Tajana Kundacina, DO, is a board certified OB/GYN physician who is particularly passionate about taking care of patients in all walks of life.

Her major interests are helping patients with fibroids, pelvic pain, heavy menstrual bleeding and endometriosis.

Dr. Kundacina is trained in minimally invasive da Vinci Robotic surgery, natural tissue pelvic prolapse surgery, hysteroscopy and pelvic laparoscopy. She is part of Valley Medical's group of Surgeons of Excellence in robotic surgery, accredited by the Surgical Review Corporation (SRC). This means she has performed hundreds of robotic procedures.

She strongly believes patients should have all surgical and non surgical options discussed and offered to them in order to make an informed decision and individualize their care.

Dr. Kundacina was born in Bosnia and Herzegovina and grew up in the Seattle area. She is fluent in Bosnian, Croatian, and Serbian. She attended the University of Washington and received her bachelor’s degree in biochemistry. After that, she ventured to the Midwest for medical school at A.T. Still University and completed her residency training at Michigan State University. She is happy to be back in the Pacific Northwest to provide care to a diverse patient population and give back to the community she grew up in. In her spare time, she enjoys spending time with her family, hiking, skiing, and practicing yoga.
