Nicole Lauinger, MD was born and raised in Juneau, Alaska. She received her undergraduate degree from Boston University, where she played on the Boston University Women's Soccer Team and graduated summa cum laude. She then went on to receive her medical degree from Georgetown University and her pediatric residency training at the University of Chicago Children's Hospital.
Dr. Lauinger is board certified in Pediatrics. She is on staff at Valley Medical Center and is a member of the Academy of Pediatrics and the Washington State Medical Association. Her special interests include: adolescent health, asthma, newborn health and development, and sports medicine.
Dr. Lauinger and her husband, Michael, who is also a physician, moved back to the Pacific Northwest in 2003 to be closer to her family. They have three children and a fourth is due in February 2010.
