Provider Bio

Tess Lang, MD, enjoys caring for patients of all ages and backgrounds. Her goal is to empower people to make informed decisions on their own health that are aligned with their values. Her interests in medicine include preventive lifestyle medicine, supporting new parents and their children, nutrition, and women’s health.

Dr. Lang has a degree in neurobiology from University of Washington and a medical degree from University of California, San Francisco. She completed her family medicine residency here at Valley Medical Center and worked at Kaiser as a full spectrum family physician with obstetrics before relocating to the Eastside. She is thrilled to return to Valley Medical Center and practice family medicine at the Newcastle clinic.

Outside of the clinic, Dr. Lang is enjoying family time with her two daughters and husband while exploring the Northwest. She enjoys cooking plant based foods, writing, book club, playing the violin, triathlons, tennis, and traveling.
