Provider Bio

Shawn Myers, MD, is a board-certified family medicine physician committed to compassionate and equitable care to all patient populations. He cares for both acute and preventive conditions, to include Nexplanon insertion for contraception. He is passionate about behavior change, and his goal is to work as a partner with his patients to develop individualized plans for taking control of their health.

Dr. Myers received his Bachelor of Science in biomedical sciences and psychology from Western Michigan University in Kalamazoo, MI, and his medical degree from Wayne State University in Detroit, MI. His internship was completed at Naval Hospital Bremerton’s Puget Sound family medicine residency and his residency with UW Medicine Valley Medical Center - Valley Family Medicine Residency. As a former Navy physician, Dr. Myers has cared for active-duty service members, retirees, and dependents both at home and abroad.
