On April 22 we had a pipe elbow failure in our Emergency Department (ED) causing a significant water leak. Crews are assessing the impact and we are in the process of water abatement. Our ED is open, but several rooms are currently offline which could increase wait times. Some surgeries are also being rescheduled.

Frederick Park, MD, was born in New York City and grew up in the Hudson Valley region of upstate New York. He graduated magna cum laude from Princeton University where he majored in Chemistry and conducted research on mass spectrometry, while competing in wrestling and taekwondo. He then attended medical school in Seattle at the University of Washington School of Medicine and conducted research on cell biology at the Fred Hutchinson Cancer Research Center.
Dr Park completed his residency training in Internal Medicine and fellowship in Gastroenterology at the University of California San Diego (UCSD). He practiced at UCSD for a few years as a staff gastroenterologist while conducting research on colon cancer. He is board certified in Internal Medicine and Gastroenterology.

He likes spending time with his wife, daughter and two sons, mountain biking, fishing, and just being outdoors.
