Provider Bio

I grew up in St. Paul, Minnesota, and completed medical school at Marian University Wood College of Osteopathic Medicine in Indianapolis. My interest in family medicine was sparked by the continuity of care I experienced growing up—I saw the same family doctor from birth through college. He delivered me and my sisters and remained our physician until he retired. I always appreciated the trust and stability that came from having a consistent, long-term provider, and that relationship made a lasting impact, inspiring me to pursue a career where I could offer that same continuity and comfort to others.

My specific interests in family medicine include reproductive health and addiction medicine, and I’m also passionate about preventative care and advancing health equity. Outside of medicine, I love running (and avoiding the hills as much as I can in Seattle), exploring the city’s many markets and restaurants, skiing at Crystal Mountain—especially if I can end the day at the Snorting Elk—and dogsitting my friend’s greyhound, Artie. I also have a growing houseplant collection that I’m always looking to expand, even though my partner thinks I already have plenty.

Seattle offers a perfect balance of city life and the outdoors, and I’m so excited to call this beautiful city home and to join the Valley Family Medicine resident family for the next few years!
