Robert Prongay, MD received his medical degree from the University of Colorado in Denver, CO. He completed his residency at Valley Family Medicine, here at Valley Medical Center.
He became interested in medicine after volunteering for international relief agencies. While applying for medical school, he and his dog, Tigger, were recognized by a Denver television station for their volunteer work visiting hospitalized and hospice patients. He gives credit to Tigger for helping him get into medical school.
As a practitioner, Dr. Prongay enjoys the depth and breadth that family medicine offers and has an interest in sports medicine. He continues to support international relief efforts and Medicine for the Homeless.
