Deionne Skusek, PA-C, is a primary care provider at Covington Primary Care. From her emergency services technician experience and during her graduate studies she developed a special interest in preventative medicine, pediatrics, mental health, LGBTQIA+, and exercise. She believes in developing a patient provider relationship that encourages collaborative decision making and treating the patient as a whole.
Deionne completed her Bachelor of Science in clinical physiology at Central Washington University. Following her undergraduate studies, she spent one year employed as an emergency medical technician (EMT) and a year and a half as an emergency department technician to gain direct patient care experience in preparation for PA school. She then accepted a seat at University of Washington’s PA program - MEDEX Northwest to achieve a Master of Clinical Health Services. She holds a national certification with the National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants (NCCPA).
On her off days she is a strength and conditioning coach at an all-women’s gym known as Vie Athletics. In her spare time, she enjoys training and playing with her miniature Australian Shepherd and miniature American Eskimo dog, exercising, experiencing new foods, and spending time with friends and family.
