Provider Bio

Jesika Smith, CGC, is a genetic counselor in the maternal fetal medicine clinic at Valley Medical Center. She holds a national certification with the American Board and Genetic Counselors and is licensed in Washington State. Through her clinical experience and graduate studies, she has developed an interest in collaborative decision making and patient-centered care. Jesika welcomes patients of all backgrounds seeking prenatal care.

Jesika completed her Bachelor of Science in cellular and molecular biology at Western Washington University and then earned her Master of Science degree at Brandeis University. Jesika is a graduate of Boston Children Hospital’s Leadership Education in Neurodevelopmental Disabilities Fellowship, an interdisciplinary fellowship that provides specialized training in how medical, education, and legal systems intersect to impact people with neurological and/or neurogenetic differences. Outside of clinic, Jesika enjoys reading, rock climbing, running, and spending time with friends and family.
