Lumi Seto, ARNP, DNP, is a nurse practitioner at the Digestive Health Clinic. She is passionate about optimizing digestive health by working together with patients to meet their short and long term goals. She believes that gastroenterology requires a holistic approach as lifestyle, diet, and culture contribute to gut health and overall wellbeing. Lumi strives to make patients feel comfortable and emphasizes open, honest communication to help cultivate positive relationships and empower patients to take an active role in their health.
Lumi was born and raised in Honolulu, Hawaii. She graduated magna cum laude from Seattle University in 2014 with a Bachelor of Science in nursing. She started her nursing career at Swedish Medical Center where she developed a special interest in gastroenterology. Lumi went on to pursue graduate studies and earned a Doctorate of Nursing Practice from University of Washington. She completed training throughout Washington including time at Seattle Cancer Care Alliance, MultiCare in Tacoma, and University of Washington. She holds a national certification with the American Academy of Nurse Practitioners. Outside of work, Lumi enjoys spending time with her family and friends, snowboarding, and traveling.
