On April 22 we had a pipe elbow failure in our Emergency Department (ED) causing a significant water leak. Crews are assessing the impact and we are in the process of water abatement. Our ED is open, but several rooms are currently offline which could increase wait times. Some surgeries are also being rescheduled.

Marcie Solondz, MD is a board-certified internal medicine physician and has served as a hospitalist at Valley Medical Center since 2016. Dr. Solondz received her medical degree from Rutgers University in Newark, New Jersey. Her internal medicine training was completed at Temple University Hospital in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. She is a member of the Society of Hospital Medicine and American College of Physicians.
Dr. Solondz is originally from New Jersey but moved to Seattle with her husband in 2016. She enjoys traveling, photography, and watching ice hockey.
