On April 22 we had a pipe elbow failure in our Emergency Department (ED) causing a significant water leak. Crews are assessing the impact and we are in the process of water abatement. Our ED is open, but several rooms are currently offline which could increase wait times. Some surgeries are also being rescheduled.

Shannon (Shani) Sluys, CNM, ARNP, enjoys providing care throughout the lifespan, including preconception/prenatal care, reproductive counseling, well woman care, adolescent health, and birth attendance. She grew up splitting her time between Washington and California, and considers the whole West Coast her home. She has been working with women and their families since she started her nursing career in 2007, and completed her doctorate in midwifery at Frontier Nursing University in 2019. In her free time, she enjoys hiking, spending time with her three daughters, cooking, and traveling.
