Provider Bio
Samantha Viramontes, MD, is board-certified in family medicine and is dedicated to caring for patients of all ages and backgrounds. Dr. Viramontes has a particular interest in preventive care, LGBTQIA+ health care, and mental health. She does prescribe pre-exposure prophylaxis (PrEP) and hormones for gender affirming care. She performs IUD and Nexplanon placements and removals for contraceptive management.
Dr. Viramontes completed her Bachelor of Arts degree in classical civilization at Cornell University in New York. She remained in New York for medical school at New York Medical College. Dr. Viramontes moved to Richland, WA, to complete her family medicine residency at Kadlec Medical Center. Outside of work, Dr. Viramontes enjoys spending time with her friends and family, cooking, and is excited to explore more of the wonderful hiking in the region.
