North Benson Urgent Care to Remain Closed

12/10/2021

After conducting a thorough assessment following the damage that occurred in August, we have decided to close North Benson Urgent Care. The decision was difficult, but we are confident it is the right thing to do. We spent the last few months analyzing the patient visits at North Benson and discovered they were often for management of chronic illness and disease which is best addressed in a primary care setting, which Valley offers in several nearby locations. We believe focusing resources on primary and preventive care for this population will have a greater long-term impact on the health of the vulnerable communities we serve in that area.

Valley operates numerous primary care locations in the immediate vicinity that offer a full and comprehensive breadth of care and act as a health navigator for patients, conducting screening exams and testing, helping patients prevent and manage chronic conditions, connecting them to vital resources for physical and mental wellness. RN care managers are also part of the primary care team helping monitor and guide patients who need extra assistance navigating care. Valley is very proud to be nationally recognized as a Primary Care Medical Home which provides an exceptional level of care and support for our community.
