Visiting hours are flexible to accommodate family and friends. Visitors should consult with the patient's nurse regarding the best time and length for visits. In consideration of other patients, visitors are asked to be reasonably quiet. Generally, patients should have no more than two visitors at any one time. An adult must accompany children. Please keep in mind the patients need to rest and try to end your visit before the patient becomes too tired.
Because patients in the Critical Care Center are very ill, we ask that you not bring flowers, plants, latex balloons or food to patients on this unit. Stuffed animals, mylar balloons and artificial floral arrangements are acceptable. Generally, only immediate family members at least 16 years of age are allowed. However, children of the immediate family may visit with prior approval of a charge nurse.
