On April 22 we had a pipe elbow failure in our Emergency Department (ED) causing a significant water leak. Crews are working hard to repair damage as quickly as possible. Our ED is open, but several rooms are currently offline, which can increase wait times. Apologies for any inconvenience you may experience.

In addition to naming a DAISY Award honoree, each nominated nurse receives special acknowledgment from Valley Medical Center and The DAISY Foundation as our way of saying “thank you” to the unsung heroes in the nursing profession.
How to Nominate an Extraordinary Nurse
Patients, visitors, physicians, volunteers, nurses and other employees are encouraged to nominate a deserving nurse. There are two options for submitting a nomination:
