With the government shutdown, many telehealth visits are not currently covered by Medicare. We are contacting impacted patients to help you avoid any unexpected charges. In many cases, telehealth appointments can be changed to an in-person visit. Please contact your clinic if you have questions or want to change or reschedule an appointment.

Nominate a Remarkable Nurse Leader

What is The DAISY Award?

The DAISY Award is an international program rewarding and celebrating the extraordinary clinical skill and compassionate care given by nurses every day. Valley Medical Center is proud to be a DAISY Award Partner, recognizing our nurses with this special honor quarterly.

Share Your Story

Share your story of a nurse leader who:

  • Led with integrity
  • Role modeled quality and exemplary practice
  • Created an environment that fostered trust
  • Advocated for those they support
  • Role modeled professionalism and ethical behavior
  • Made a difference in the life of a patient, care team member, department, or organization

DAISY Award nominees personify Valley Medical Center’s remarkable patient experience. In addition to naming a DAISY Award honoree, each nominated nurse receives special acknowledgment from Valley Medical Center and The DAISY Foundation as our way of saying “thank you” to the unsung heroes in the nursing profession.
