Dear Colleagues:

We want to inform you about our recent medical staff transitions. After more than six years with Valley Medical Center, Atreya Dash, MD, is moving his practice to UW Medicine Northwest Hospital. As UW School of Medicine faculty and research investigator, Dr. Dash plans greater involvement with the Urology Department, including teaching and urologic oncology research. Although we are sad to see Dr. Dash go, your patients will continue receiving excellent care from the Urology Clinic providers, Susan Dong, MD, Dan Simon, MD, and Xinyue Wang, PA-C. In addition, we are pleased to welcome urologist, Rahul Desai, MD to our team this month. The Urology Clinic staff appreciates your ongoing referrals with the provider who will best fit your patients’ needs. Our phone number is 425.690.3493 and our fax is 425.690.9493.

Susan Dong, MD, works with patients and families using shared decision making to thoughtfully address urologic concerns and improve quality of life. Experienced in treating kidney stones, kidney cancer, prostate cancer, bladder cancer, male and female incontinence, enlarged prostate, and erectile dysfunction, Dr. Dong also specializes in robotic surgery.

Dan Simon, MD, co-founded the Urology Clinic in 2013 and specializes in general urology, endoscopic, laparoscopic and da Vinci® robotic surgery. He offers minimally invasive treatment for managing benign and malignant urologic disease, as well treatment for erectile and voiding dysfunction and low testosterone.

Rahul Desai, MD, prioritizes patient education, along with open communication and teamwork with the patient’s primary care physician, as essential to a successful treatment process. Offering urologic care for general and complex conditions, Dr. Desai specializes in surgical, robotic, and non-invasive procedures including radical prostatectomy, partial nephrectomy, pyeloplasty, endoscopic stone surgery, ureteroscopy, percutaneous stone removal, ESWL and transurethral prostate surgery (TUVP, TURP).

We value your trust in our urology team for providing care to your patients, and we welcome your feedback any time.

Regards,

Dan Simon, MD
