The Desimone Levee on the Green River failed and is under repair. The hospital is above the flood zone and currently in no danger of flooding. We evacuated our Time Square and Kent Station Clinics and our Lind Avenue locations. Several locations are experiencing staffing issues due to severe traffic impacts. Impacted patients are being contacted to reschedule appointments. Please be safe, do not drive or walk through standing water, and call 9-1-1 if you need emergency evacuation assistance.

Michael S. Harper, MD, PhD is a hospitalist at Valley Medical Center treating non-surgical patients in both acute and critical care settings. He is originally from Virginia where he attended College of William and Mary. He earned a combined MD-PhD at University of Colorado School of Medicine where he conducted research in Immunology. He completed his internal medicine residency training at Johns Hopkins Hospital.
Dr. Harper’s professional goal is to provide excellent, high-value care to all patients through open communication and shared decision making with patients and their families. Outside of work, Dr. Harper enjoys cycling, hiking, and spending time with his wife and two daughters.
