On April 22 we had a pipe elbow failure in our Emergency Department (ED) causing a significant water leak. Crews are assessing the impact and we are in the process of water abatement. Our ED is open, but several rooms are currently offline which could increase wait times. Some surgeries are also being rescheduled.

Pei-Chia (Paige) Liang, MD is a board-certified internal medicine physician serving at Valley Medical Center since 2017. Dr. Liang completed her internal medicine residency training at West Connecticut Health Network-Danbury Hospital in affiliation with the Yale School of Medicine in Connecticut.
Dr. Liang grew up in Taiwan Taipei and moved to the United States for her medical training. She is fluent in English, Chinese Mandarin and Taiwanese. She enjoys cooking, hiking, exercising in the gym, boxing and traveling.
