Rajesh Raina, MD provides care as a hospitalist at Valley Medical Center specializing in internal medicine and has a special interest in managing complex diseases. Dr. Raina obtained his medical degree from University of Kashmir in India, after which he worked as a medical officer in the government health services in India and was appointed as personal physician to the governor of the state of Jammu and Kashmir.
Dr Raina completed his internal medicine residency at Wyckoff Heights Medical Center, an affiliate of Weill Cornell Medical College of Cornell University. Dr Raina is board-certified in internal medicine and holds memberships with the American College of Physicians and the Society of Hospital Medicine. He is fluent in English, Hindi and Kashmiri. Outside of work, Dr Raina enjoys hiking, gardening and traveling with family and friends.
