Matthias Struck, DO, was raised in Washington State’s Skagit Valley and now serves as a hospitalist at Valley Medical Center. He has a special interest in critical care medicine and LGBTQ representation. Dr. Struck’s experience in both rural and urban underserved communities has cultivated a belief that quality health care is best achieved through diverse medical teams that prioritize compassionate and inclusive patient care.
Dr. Struck earned his undergraduate degree from University of Washington, after which he completed medical school at Pacific Northwest University of Health Sciences. He went on to complete a residency in internal medicine at Jefferson Hospital in Philadelphia. When he’s not serving patients, Dr. Struck enjoys cooking, home renovation projects, and recreating on Lake Washington.
