Residency in Pharmacy Practice (PGY1)![]() The PGY1 residency at Valley Medical Center is an ASHP-accredited post-graduate program providing twelve months of training in all aspects of advanced pharmacy practice. The goal of the program is to provide each individual with the necessary skills and competencies upon completion of the residency to succeed in a variety of positions including clinical pharmacy specialists, clinical faculty, or continuation of postgraduate training in a PGY-2 program or fellowship.
