Discount Options

For Hospital & Clinic Services

Valley Medical Center recognizes the financial impact healthcare costs can have when you are uninsured or insured with a non-covered service. The discount program highlights our commitment to patients and families when seeking care within UW / Valley Medical Center.

Uninsured Discount

  • Patients or guarantors without insurance coverage: a 30% discount is applied to the full charge amount that appears on your estimate. This discount will be reflected on your billing statement. You can contact Patient Financial Services at 1-855-826-1540 or 425-690-3578option 5 if you are interested in setting up a payment plan.
  • Discount cannot be applied to package or special pricing.

Uninsured Prepay Discount 

  • If you do not have insurance coverage, you may qualify for an additional 10% discount after the first 30% uninsured discount has been applied.

    • For a scheduled appointment: payment in full is required on or before the date of service.

  • Discount cannot be applied to package pricing.
  • If you will be receiving services at Valley Medical Center's hospital, please contact a Financial Advocate at 425.228.3440 x 5599 to make arrangements in advance.
  • If you will be receiving services by a physician in one of our clinic offices, please contact the specific clinic to make these arrangements prior to your visit. Click here to view a list of VMC clinics, clinic hours and a list of physicians at each clinic.

Insured Noncovered Service Discount

  • Patients or guarantors with insurance may qualify for a 30% discount on services that have been deemed non-covered by patient/guarantor's insurance carrier. Patient or guarantor must sign a notice of non-coverage within the check-in process prior to receiving the service. This discount will be reflected on your billing statement. You can contact Patient Financial Services at 1-855-826-1540 or 425-690-3578, option 5 if you are interested in setting up a payment plan.
  • This discount cannot be applied to package or special pricing, deductibles, copay or coinsurance for noncovered services.

Financial Assistance

  • If a patient is eligible for Financial Assistance this will supersede the discount program. Financial Assistance is awarded at 100%.
